We are looking for an experienced events coordinator to join our staff team at Gosforth Civic Theatre.


The Role

Are you an experienced events coordinator who is looking for a new challenge? This new role brings together corporate events coordination and a desire to be part of ensuring Gosforth Civic Theatre achieves our vision of being an inclusive arts venue. As our Events Coordinator you will be working closely with our senior staff team to develop and deliver our private and corporate events calendar in line with our business plan and fulfil on our mission to be an inclusive cultural venue where people with learning disabilities thrive and take part in delivering events.


You will be responsible for securing bookings, planning and delivering events as well as coordinating and ensuring the induction and successful embedding of people with learning disabilities into your events teams. You will also be responsible for reporting on events to help us track the impact of our programme both socially and financially.


Terms

Contract: Permanent (After probationary period)

Hours: 38 hours per week

Holiday entitlement: 30 days per year plus bank holidays

Salary: £ 20,000 – 22,000 P.A.

Starting: Immediately


Place of Work: Gosforth Civic Theatre, NE3 3HD
