We are seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to join our senior staff team at Gosforth Civic Theatre.
We’re looking for a Front of House Manager who can build on the successes of the front of house team to date. They will drive income growth by; increasing sales; monitoring profit margins, seeking efficiencies, and being entrepreneurial. They will positively and creatively manage the operations at GCT and work within the programming and operations teams to grow and improve our offer to the community and our audiences. They will passionately advocate for the organisation and its mission and vision of inclusion.

You will have an important part to play in developing our commercial income streams and supporting our social impact. As a crucial member of our senior team, you will be joining a growing and successful organisation, you will work closely with the Events Manager and Marketing and Programme Manager to develop the business and our Work Placement Coordinator to further our mission, ensuring work placements and volunteer opportunities are successfully embedded in the front of house team. You are a values-driven, confident, and experienced Front of House manager.
Contract: Permanent (After probationary period)
Hours: 40 hours per week (including evenings and weekends)
Holiday entitlement: 30 days per year plus bank holidays (Increasing 1 day per year of service, to a maximum of 35 days)
Salary: £ 27,000 – 30,000 p.a (depending on experience)
Place of Work: Gosforth Civic Theatre, NE3 3HD
