Getting here.
We’re less that one minute from Regent Centre Metro station, which is on the green Airport to South Hylton Tyne and Wear Metro Line.
While regular buses also run to Regent Centre from Newcastle, while a car taxi ride will take you about 10 minutes from the city centre. We're accessible from Gosforth High Street and Great North Road whether driving from the north or south.
Parking
Please note that our car park is small so gets busy easily, especially on event days; visitors are advised to find alternative parking in the local area where possible, some of which we detail below:
Alternative Parking
Regent Centre Metro Station - this is a paid for multi-storey car park 2 minutes walk away from the venue.
Bulman House - This is directly behind GCT just off Henry Street. It is used by NHS employees between the hours of 8am and 6pm Mon-Fri but outside these hours is free to use.

There is also parking facilities on Salters Road, and at Asda, Gosforth Leisure Centre and Gosforth Shopping Centre, please check these places before parking for any fees and restrictions.

The above alternative parking are suggestions; Gosforth Civic Theatre and Liberdade can take no responsibility for any customers parking at these or any other alternative parking arrangements.
Accessibility
The entrances and exits to the building, including fire exits are all wheelchair accessible. We have two blue badge parking spots in the car park and an accessible toilet on site. If you have any questions before you visit please give us a call on 0191 284 3700.

From Monday 1 July our café bar will be opening during the following times:
