Dear Friends of Gosforth Civic Theatre,
I am very sad to inform you that our Chair Person, John Jennings, passed away on Friday 30th August. John’s contribution to the charity has been transformational over the last seven years; his positivity, drive and passion for the charity, and its mission, enabled us to realise Gosforth Civic Theatre. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
We are doing all we can to support his family during this time. We are holding a celebration of John’s life on Friday 20th September; friends and family are invited to arrive at Gosforth Civic Theatre from 2pm and the event will start at 2.30pm. The building will be closed to those not attending the event from 12pm.
We thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this time.
Rosie, John’s wife, has asked us to set up a fund in John’s name for those people who wished to make a donation, I have included the link for the fund below.
